Spike Lee is working in television for the first time with a TV adaptation of his first feature-length film, She’s Gotta Have It. Nola Darling is a young polyamorous woman in Brooklyn, New York, who has to manage the affections of a handful of men in her life.
Prefacing the new show trailer is a young Spike Lee promoting his film on the street (and selling socks) in 1986. Since then Spike Lee has made many well-loved films including such titles as Do The Right Thing and Malcolm X.
She’s Gotta Have It is coming to Netflix on Thanksgiving, AKA November 23rd, 2017.
TV has always been a part of Michael’s life, but since the influx of streaming shows now he can’t stop (someone send help). He also dabbles in films and video games, and has a mean board game collection.
